Device information (device model, OS version, app version)
Purchase and transaction data (subscriptions, gift purchases)
Artist account data (PayPal email for payouts, uploaded content metadata)
Analytics data to improve the service

We do not collect location data, contacts, or any data unrelated to the music experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalize the music streaming experience
To recommend music based on your listening habits
To process payments, gift purchases, and artist payouts
To display relevant advertisements
To maintain and improve the app
To communicate important updates about the service

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on servers located in Germany (Hetzner). Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Financial data such as PayPal emails is stored securely and only used for payout processing.

4. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data including:

Device advertising identifier (IDFA)
IP address and general location
App usage and interaction data
Device information

This data is used to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). For more information, see Google's privacy policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Apple StoreKit — for subscriptions and in-app purchases
Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements
PayPal — for processing artist payouts
Hetzner Cloud — for server infrastructure

Each service has its own privacy policy governing data collection and use.

We do not sell or share your personal data with data brokers.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The Tunnt app does not use browser cookies. We use Google AdMob which may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for ad personalization. You can control ad tracking in your device settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Tunnt is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Artist payout records are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. You can request account deletion at any time, after which your personal data will be removed within 60 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
